What is Stage 2 remapping?
Stage 2 describes calibration for a suitable vehicle with relevant supporting hardware. The important detail is the actual combination of vehicle and modifications, rather than the stage label by itself. Compatibility, condition and intended use are discussed before work is agreed.
Ellis offers Stage 2 ECU remapping in Craigavon and surrounding areas, Northern Ireland. There is no universal parts list, equipment promise or performance figure on this page: each enquiry needs to be assessed individually.
Describe your complete setup
Include the make, model, year, engine and transmission, plus a clear list of modifications already fitted. If the vehicle has been remapped before, mention that too. Explain your goals and any warning lights, known faults or driveability concerns.
Do not purchase supporting parts based only on the term Stage 2. Ask Ellis to discuss the existing setup and the suitability of any planned changes first. This website does not confirm coverage for every vehicle or ECU.
How Stage 2 differs from Stage 1
Stage 1 is described for suitable vehicles with standard engine hardware. Stage 2 starts with the supporting modifications and how they relate to the proposed calibration. A modified vehicle needs that additional context before the scope and quotation can be confirmed.
If you are unsure which stage to enquire about, describe what is fitted rather than guessing. Ellis can discuss the relevant option once the vehicle details are available.
Plan the enquiry before an appointment
Call or email Ellis, or select Stage 2 on the enquiry form. Include the existing parts, any planned changes and how you use the vehicle. Ask about suitability, the work proposed, the quotation and availability.
An enquiry does not confirm an appointment. Agree the scope and location directly with Ellis. Mobile remapping is available on request, with the exact vehicle and visit arrangements to be confirmed.
